Warranty Policy

Our Warranty Commitment

At Duran Tractors LLC, we understand that purchasing a tractor, trailer, or piece of equipment is a significant investment. We aim to provide clear information regarding any warranty coverage that applies to the equipment we sell.

Warranty coverage may vary depending on whether equipment is new or used, the manufacturer, the specific product, and the terms applicable to the transaction.

New Equipment Warranty

New tractors, trailers, and equipment may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty where such warranty is provided by the manufacturer.

Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s own terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, and claim procedures.

Customers should review the applicable warranty documentation before purchasing and contact Duran Tractors if they require clarification regarding available warranty information.

Used Equipment Warranty

Warranty coverage for used tractors, trailers, and equipment varies by individual unit and transaction.

Unless a specific warranty is expressly stated in the applicable product listing, invoice, purchase agreement, or other transaction documentation, customers should not assume that a used equipment unit includes a warranty.

Used equipment may have normal signs of previous use and wear and may require maintenance or repair as part of normal ownership.

What a Warranty May Cover

Where warranty coverage applies, the specific warranty documentation will determine what is covered.

Depending on the applicable warranty, coverage may relate to certain defects in materials, workmanship, or specific components during the applicable warranty period.

The applicable warranty documentation will control the scope of coverage.

Warranty Period

Warranty periods vary by manufacturer, product, equipment condition, and applicable warranty terms.

The applicable warranty period will be determined by the warranty documentation provided with the equipment or the terms of the relevant purchase agreement.

Customers should confirm the warranty period before completing a purchase if warranty coverage is an important consideration.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage may not apply to conditions resulting from circumstances such as:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Routine maintenance

  • Improper operation

  • Misuse or abuse

  • Accidents or collisions

  • Unauthorized modifications

  • Improper installation or repair

  • Use outside the manufacturer’s specifications

  • Failure to perform required maintenance

  • Damage caused during unauthorized transportation or handling

  • Consumable items and routine replacement parts, where excluded by the applicable warranty

The actual exclusions will depend on the specific warranty applicable to the equipment.

Used Equipment and Normal Wear

Used equipment may show evidence of previous operation, including cosmetic wear, mechanical wear, paint deterioration, tire wear, surface marks, or other characteristics associated with age and use.

Normal wear or pre-existing characteristics of used equipment do not automatically constitute a warranty defect.

Customers should review the available condition information and ask questions about the equipment before purchasing.

Manufacturer Warranties

Where a manufacturer warranty applies, warranty claims may need to be submitted directly to the manufacturer or through an authorized service provider according to the manufacturer’s procedures.

Duran Tractors may assist customers with available warranty information, but the manufacturer ultimately determines eligibility for claims governed by its warranty terms.

How to Submit a Warranty Request

If you believe your equipment has a condition that may be covered by an applicable warranty, contact Duran Tractors as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • Customer name

  • Contact information

  • Order or invoice information

  • Equipment make and model

  • Equipment identification or serial number, where applicable

  • Description of the issue

  • Date the issue was discovered

  • Photographs or videos, where helpful

  • Relevant maintenance or service information, where applicable

Additional documentation may be requested to evaluate the warranty matter.

Warranty Inspection

Warranty claims may require an inspection or diagnostic assessment before coverage can be determined.

Customers should not authorize major repairs or modifications relating to a potential warranty claim without first confirming the appropriate procedure with Duran Tractors or the applicable manufacturer.

Unauthorized repairs may affect warranty eligibility where permitted under the applicable warranty terms.

Transportation and Service

The responsibility for transportation, inspection, repair, labor, parts, or other costs associated with a warranty claim will depend on the specific warranty and applicable purchase terms.

Customers should confirm these arrangements before transporting equipment or authorizing repairs.

Warranty Claim Review

Submitting a warranty request does not automatically mean that the claim will be approved.

Each claim will be evaluated according to the applicable warranty terms, equipment condition, available documentation, and circumstances of the reported issue.

Where a manufacturer is responsible for the applicable warranty, the manufacturer’s determination may control the claim.

No Additional Warranty

Unless expressly stated in writing, Duran Tractors does not represent that equipment carries any warranty beyond the warranty specifically provided by the manufacturer or expressly included in the applicable purchase agreement.

No employee, representative, product description, or website statement should be interpreted as creating additional warranty coverage unless expressly authorized and documented.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Operating equipment according to applicable manufacturer instructions

  • Performing required routine maintenance

  • Using equipment within its intended specifications

  • Maintaining relevant service and maintenance records

  • Reporting potential warranty issues promptly

  • Following applicable warranty claim procedures

Failure to follow applicable maintenance or operating requirements may affect warranty coverage where permitted by the applicable warranty terms.

Warranty and Returns

A warranty claim and a return request are separate matters.

If equipment has a potential warranty issue, customers should contact Duran Tractors before attempting to return, modify, repair, or dispose of the equipment.

For information regarding returns and refunds, please review our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Applicable Legal Rights

This Warranty Policy does not limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable federal or state law.

Where applicable law provides consumers with rights beyond the terms of a particular warranty, those rights remain unaffected.
